Not receiving Job Seeker Weekly in your Inbox?

We here at Job Seeker Weekly applaud the anti-spam industry's efforts to remove unwanted email from our mailboxes.  However, as you may have discovered, the downside to this trend is that some wanted email publications, such as Job Seeker Weekly, end up blocked or moved to a bulk/junk mail folder.

In order to assist our subscribers in continuing to receive Job Seeker Weekly in their email Inboxes, we've compiled Safe List instructions from the top ISPs and many popular mail filter programs.  Just choose your ISP or mail filter program below to find the instructions for your situation.

Hotmail / MSN / Windows Live Mail

To ensure messages from specific e-mail addresses are not sent to your Junk E-Mail folder, you can add them to your Safe List.

Windows Live Mail
  1. From your Windows Live Mail Inbox, go to the Options page.
  2. Click Click Allowed and Blocked Senders under Junk e-mail.
  3. Click Allowed Senders.
  4. Type newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com, and then click Add to List.
Hotmail/MSN
  1. From your Hotmail Inbox, go to the Options page.
  2. Click Junk E-Mail Protection.
  3. Click Safe List.
  4. Type newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com, and then click Add.

Gmail

To make sure Gmail doesn't move email to the Junk folder/label, you can setup a filter that makes sure you get your email.

  1. Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
  2. Go to Filters.
  3. Click Create a new filter.
  4. Type the desired email address under From:
    1. To whitelist an entire domain (all mail from an address ending in "about.com", for example), type the just the domain name or the domain name preceded by '@'. To whitelist "jobseekerweekly.com", for instance, type "@jobseekerweekly.com" (not including the quotation marks).
  5. Click Next Step ...
    1. You can click Test Search before, of course, to make sure you did not mistype.
  6. Make sure Never send it to Spam is checked.
  7. Click Create Filter.

Yahoo! Mail
  
  1. Follow the Mail Options link from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar.
  2. Select Filters.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Give the filter an appropriate name under Filter Name.
  5. In the From header:  line choose "contains", then type:  newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com.
  6. In the Move the message to:  field, choose "Inbox" or any other folder you want to receive your Job Seeker Weekly newsletter in.
  7. Click Add Filter.

If you find that Job Seeker Weekly newsletter is already in your Bulk Mail folder, simply open the newsletter and click on the Not Spam button at the top to move it to your Inbox.

  1. Go to keyword: Mail Controls
  2. Select the screen name we're sending  Job Seeker Weekly to. 
  3. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name. 

AOL Version 9.0

  1. Open  Job Seeker Weekly e-mail. 
  2. Click the Add Address button (on the right) to add to your "People I Know" list or address book.

CleanMyMailbox: 

If  Job Seeker Weekly is filtered, from the spambox, click on the white "W" icon on the left column of the mailing. 
When the pop-up window comes up, simply click the Add to Whitelist button. 

Alternative whitelisting methods: 

  1. Click on the Whitelist button. 
  2. Add: newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com to the bottom of your existing list. 
  3. Click the Submit List button. 

OR....

  1. Click the Subject Whitelist button. 
  2. Add: [Job Seeker Weekly ] to the bottom of the list on a line by itself. 
  3. Click the Submit List button.

Cloudmark SpamNet: 

  1. Select Cloudmark | Options ... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook. 
  2. Click Advanced
  3. Go to the Whitelist tab. 
  4. Click the Add button. 
  5. Type: newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com
  6. Click OK
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Yes
  9. Click OK.

  1. Click the Addresses tab. 
  2. Click New
  3. Type: newsletter@jobseekerweekly.com 
  4. Make sure 'Accept Mail From This Address' is selected under Receiving Options.
  5. Uncheck 'Display in People Picker' under Other options. 
  6. Click Submit. 
  7. Click OK.
